The theme of this course focuses on “Exploring Identity Through Writing.” For this course, we will examine what is meant by the term “identity.” We will also explore how our identities change as we pass through different contexts and go through various life experiences. Hopefully, students will be able to examine and explore their own identities while reading about the lived experiences of persons from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
