Hi!! Welcome to this page........
In these years I got a lot of beautiful things to keep with me and I enjoyed being in this world for long. I also had my share of sadness and difficulties in my life but again I want to believe this life is beautiful.
The places of Importance
Sree Sankaracharya Memorial Shrine
This is situated in Kalady, in the Ernakulam district of Kerala state, the birth place of Sankaracharya, the greatest Hindu philospher the country ever had. It is just 4 kms away from the Kochi International Airport.
More about my learning..
Hi, I completed my schooling in 1993, then I had two years of college, PDC, in biology group in Sree Sankara Vidyapeetham College, and it was two splendid years. (After a long years this month
( September 2009) I got three of my classmates back from Orkut. After completing that, I joined a bachelor's degree course in Psychology in the Sree Sankaracharya Sanskrit University, Kalady, and during the course time, got selected via a test to the major trade apprenticeship program of HMT Ltd, Kalamassery, Kochi, one of the biggest machine tool factories of India, and the next three years, I spent there, learned the trade of electrician and mostly about Computer Numerical Control Machines (CNC). I completed my degree later from IGNOU, New Delhi, in English. Now studying MA English, don't know when I will complete this.
What I could Achieve
In my school times, I was a little philatelist and was a D-xer. I enjoyed D-xing a lot.(Ya, a few of my friends still ask me what is D-xing, so I have to tell a little about it). It is a hobby where we work as the local reception agents for international SW radio stations like BBC, VOA, FEBC, etc. and send them the program reception reports and feedback and they send us gifts like stamps and picture cards in return etc.
As a student, I was also interested to make penfriends (snail mail) from all over the world, and of course I got a few. I remember I was writing kind of silly poems and short stories in my college and HMT days and was famous among my colleagues for that. I loved to learn Bible and earned a Bible certificate (To be added soon) from the F.E.B.C broadcasting corporation, Manila. I was good in quiz competitions and was lucky to earn a few thousand rupees (I got a gold medal too!), mainly from the Jamshedpur Kerala Samajam competitions and the various school and college competitions.
My experiments to learn spoken English is so interesting to me till now. I remember mimicking the BBC English teaching programs like 'A long way home' for long, whenever I got a place and time. I loved Professor Grammar, the famous funny professor of BBC English. Still after all those episodes, I am amused to say, I am still there where I started, my English is still not English that much and my efforts are still on.
The three most influenced 'things' in my life apart from my family and friends and relatives are BBC, The Hindu, and Google. I loved to keep a passion to all three of these.
Jamshedpur, 1998-2005
More..
After the three years of HMT, I lived around 6.5 years in the steel city, Jamshedpur, and those were the most vibrant years of my life after my childhood.
The life there in Jamshedpur started with a lot of struggles. It was my HMT colleague and senior Vinod Bhai (Vinod E.V) who made that Jamshedpur episode possible. We both struggled and gone through a lot of bad patches before we slowly started getting our feet firm on the Bihar soil. I remember Hemant and Rajesh M. R ( who took us to the Sabind Gear), contributed a lot of goodness to that life. Interestingly enough, Rajesh bhai who got a fantastic job in Ichapur Ordance Factory later lead Vinod bhai to the same route, to the Kanpur Rifle factory, and he bagged the lone vacant seat available! Yes truly, both of them were so amazing.
And in my part of that lazy life, I lived and lived there and returned home with an almost empty hand. To remember, I loved nearby 'The City of Joy', Kolkata and still love the passion it holds. I always remember wandering the metro, Kalighat, Victoria, Tollygunch, Alipore and Belur Matt, all interesting places.
Then it was Hykon, Hykon Transcripts (P) Ltd, I worked there as a proofreader, proofreading the transcribed medical reports. Hykon Transcripts is a part of the Hykon group, which have a lot of businesses. Hykon is situated in the Cochin special economic zone (CSEZ), Kakkanad, Kochi.
Now I am working in the Revenue department as a clerk..a more stable, promising government job.
We Two and Our Daughter
More about my friends....
'Nethaji', as I was calling him , and 'Mottu', Dhanajay Lal. Nethaji is Ritesh Khan, (he is a Pandey, not Khan!) one of the main men among the export oriented unit of the Simpson Sabind, who was an expert in employ-employer relations. Dhananjay Lal and me worked together for over 6 years, in the same plant of the Simpson Sabind Industries (Ltd) except for a short period. A very peculiar character and still works there. His interest for tasty foods was so amazing and was good in tasting too. I don't have communication with them for long, but still remember them both a lot. This photo was taken on the 2nd last day of my Jamshedpur life when they came to my rented little room to go for a small party we had together in the famous Madhuban of Aditypur.

I have a few Taiwanes friends!!. Lan, Pan and Yan are best friends. I came to know Lan first in them.Yan is my friend's best friend for over 30 years. And Lan is of course my best friend in them and undoubtedly the best friend of me too. She is with me for over 5 years now. A teacher of Raichung International school, Taichung, Taiwan. We first got knew in a BBC forum, I never knew I was talking to a woman for long. She is so good in painting and her husband is a wonderful craftsman. She was a teacher most of the time, and when she gets time she criticizes me for my each action and sometimes becomes a humble student of me too. She influenced me a lot in my life more than anything, I must admit. Whenever I was losing my confidence, she was the one who with her most vibrant energy made me feel like I am worthy enough to this world.

Montu, Montu Mahato was part of my life for over 6 years. I got the real experience of the muddy houses and Mahato and Bengaly villages through him and made a lot of friends and well wishers in the old traditional no-power villages of the Jharkhand. Enjoyed a lot of Holy & Shanith in the vilages and seen some wonderful festivals and rituals in his village. He was teaching me a bit of Bengla. Dev Prakash Yadav. Dev is in Kolkata. This photo given here is taken on the wedding day of mine, here in Kerala. He also worked with me for over 6 years. Dhananjay, Me and Dev were working together for most of the time, except for a short period of time. I learned a lot of 'correct' Hindi through him. Still in touch with both of them.

My Romance
I knew for long that everyone needs someone to love and I too needed one badly and at the end of day I got her, my wife! We love each other a lot and love everything we share. I tell you, I had one girl friend before my marriage, who loved me like heaven and she was so dedicated too. Learn more about my love here. (To be added!). She showed me the depth of love, sincerity, truthfulness, and dedication one person can extend to another in any relation, which was amazingly a benchmarking to my whole life, which kept me too nostalgic and made me realize the power of those qualities I ever came to know in my past or present.
