Sonnet 56

Welcome! Included are some samples of my undergraduate coursework from my Methods II class at Stony Brook University titled: Performance and Technology in Teaching Literature and Composition, Fall Semester 2006.

I have created this web site so that you could have the opportunity to see some of the wonderful things we are working on here at Stony Brook.  The classroom environment is a place where students should have the opportunity to experience literature in a new light.  Students should not be sitting at their desks reading Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream silently.  Let's see how we can bring today's classroom to life!!!!

Shakespeare's language is powerful, and students should have the opportunity to get it into their mouths!!! For example how would you feel if someone called you an odiferous nimblefooted mad wag?!
