Kaiser David Krohn has joined our Family!!
Our beautiful son was born on April 27, 2008 at 11:20am after a very fast labor!
He was a good sized boy at 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21" long. He looks very much like Kris' newborn pictures, with a bit of what baby Liesel looked like, too. He has LOTS of light brown/blondish hair (strait) and big blue eyes. He is the sweetest, most content baby, and loves to cuddle and check out the world around him. We are so happy to have him in our family!

Kaiser has met three of his grandparents already! Here he is with Grandpa Matt King, Grandpa Klaus Krohn, and Grandma Laurie King. Only Grandma Eileen Krohn is missing, but hopefully he'll be able to meet her soon!
Other News: Liesel has been having fun!
Since the birth of the baby, we have been trying to spend some extra special time with Liesel. We have taken two trips to Kangaroo Zoo, which is an indoor kids place with lots of moon bounces ("jumping toys", Liesel says) and slides. We also got Liesel her own play kitchen, complete with appliances, serving dishes and play food! She loves it and serves up all sorts of concoctions. The other day she gave me a sandwich with egg, cheese, lettuce, pickles and chocolate sauce!
Jamaica Trip: Kris and I were in Jamaica from Feb. 15-21st, 2008 for a getaway. It was warm, relaxing and we loved the friendly people! We stayed at a Sandals Resort near Montego Bay. Kalenn got her hair done in Jamaican cornrows and braids, we rented a cabana on the beach for a day, and rafted down a beautiful river. Mostly we relaxed on the beach and by the pool.

We've been blessed with perpetual snow! I don't think we've seen grass (or in our yard's case, dirt) for three months! Kris has tried to go snowboarding as often as he can, and as you can see, during a recent storm, made a 10 ft. tall snowman in our yard! Poor guy is slumped over, headless and only about 5 feet high. Maybe that means that spring is on the way???

Liesel's favorite thing this month is to play with her Mr. Potato head and try on all the pieces herself! She also makes Mommy and Daddy put them on!

Liesel moved from her crib to a big girl bed!! It only took her a couple of weeks transition in the toddler bed before she could do it! She hasn't fallen out yet (knock on wood), and will stay in it for naptime (Yay!)

Liesel had a birthday! She turned two on Jan. 20, 2008 and we had a fun party for her! Her friends that came were Alyssa Wood, Josie Mumford, and Ezra, Rachael and Charlotte Miller. I had her trained for the occasion to be able to hold up two fingers and proudy say "I'm TWO!"
