Hello all!!

Welcome to HOPE Community Academy's computer lab. My name is Mr. Kaveh Ghazi and I am the computer teacher as well as the technology coordinator here at HOPE.  I want to take a moment and discuss the technologies students and staff here at HOPE use to integrate into their curriculum.

At HOPE we strive to make technology second nature for the students and teachers by implemeting technology into many aspects of school.  In the computer lab we provide students with the most current software and internet access in orther for students to best utilize the internet for research.  The software programs we use include:  Kidpix, microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), StoryBookweaver, Read Naturally, and Learning.com. With the use of our new Promethean whiteboards, students have become more accustomed to welcoming technology as a source of new learning.
