 
Since 1987, Krey Field (FAA code 0CL1) has been one of SoCal Soaring's best kept secrets! Located just 2 miles south of El Mirage and Sheep Creek roads in Adelanto, California, this spacious and rustic privately owned airport has some of the best and lowest cost flying anywere in the US! Krey is home to the Antelope Valley, Cypress, and Phoenix Soaring Clubs, as well as offering aerotow service and glider rentals to owners and renters. Krey Field is currently open Fridays and Saturdays, but will open any day of the week by prior arrangement. (Minimum 48 Hrs prior notice to Tow Pilot and Krey)
In addition to the club operations, A Schweizer 2-33 and 1-26 rent for $20/hr, and instruction and a FAA Examiner are available. Private owners are welcome, and a typical tow to 2000 ft is only $35!
