YLKGOM Community Service The Krewe was founded in 1992 by 14 women who became friends through service to their community by working together on The 1991 Festival of Trees. The Krewe by-laws require all new members to have volunteered time to charities in the Tampa Bay Area. Our standing rules also require members to demonstrate continued volunteer service. In 1997, the Krewe’s Long Range Planning Committee, including Teri Willis, Trudi Haughey, Valerie Klein-Tobin and Tekla Ulrich, initiated the Aleta Goodson Community Service Award (since changed to the Angels of Grace Community Service Award – AGCSA – to honor all deceased members) given to a member for outstanding volunteer work for charities in the Tampa Bay area. Money is raised at auction and presented to the charity that the award winner has designated. Winners of the AGCSA
