Extra credit : Go see a French movie when applicable at Catamount Arts and write a reaction to the movie (hand it in with your ticket stub). Extra credit for all classes: Watch ONE reportage from the news show "Sept jours sur la planète" and write a summary in French. You can do the same for the "flash info" on TV5. Extra credit: fill out this quiz about French culture and hand it in. Why study French?

ACCENTS: Type French accents easily online! If you are using Firefox as your browser, you can easily insert an accented character: go to "edit" and "special characters," and choose "accented latin." Typing w/accents in Word: go to "Insert", then "Symbol," and a menu of accents will appear. Insert the accent you need. This menu also gives you keyboard shortcuts for making accents quickly.
