Silence verged through this valley long time ago, as the residents looks to strangers as potential enemies. At once, a man came to them, he showed the power of death and advised them to live happily ever after. He was the reverse of Death, it's complement, the DeadMate...

Strategies:
Attacks and Defense in war:
1. Types of war attacks
- Ambush
This attack is done by fast troops to ambush the player currently attacking with slower troops. This attack tends to wash probable protection left home in attacker village, for example catas, senators, or heroes or other worthy troops that are not sent with washing attack wave.
- Plunder
This attack is usually made on oases in intense wars and tends to plunder a village resources if not defended. Also it's made on back up villages of one player when main attack is faced to another village. There are usually more resources and weak troops in back up villages.
- Wash
These attacks are made to kill all of defending armies. Usually comes in simultaneous waves, these attacks includes lots of infantry and one third cavalry. A hero may be included. These attacks will arrive from one player or more players on the same time, usually take more time to each the target due to slow speed of infantries. Usually the wash attack come to villages that are scouted before. So if it's a first time attack, it's a fake! To avoid wash attacks keep lots of scouts and don't let anybody to know what's going on in your village, so they don't know how to react. If you kill a large amount of scouts at once, they will think your toooo strong, and it's a good way of pretending (I call it Bubble Frog).
- Annihilation
This type of attacks are for destroying or conquering the village, or paralyzing it for a while. Came after wash attacks, destroying attacks usually contains rams, catapults and senators (Wash attacks can contain rams). The senator attacks is effective when your palace or residence is destroyed, so build one as soon as possible after you've been attacked (keep resources on your way home to do that ASAP). catapult attacks usually have famous targets: 1. Granary (to keep players in low troops count, otherwise they will starve or you should fit into your crop production limits + 800 for granary level 0) / Cropland / Main Building (To keep you down in technology) / Barracks ( To avoid cheap troop mass production) / Warehouse (To waste your current resources and harm crannied up villages)...
- Fake
This type is used to decoy players from real targets, confuse them where to send reinforcements. Another case is when a real attack is on other player, and attacker wants the protectors of alliance to remain home and defend themselves. Third case is when attacker wants a player to gather troops in one place and be on negative crop production and then plunder near villages and let the troops starve there. Another case is to confuse player to find out the real attacker, when there are multi attacks on one player and the defender knows the usual type of him/her (infantry, cavalry, catas). Professional players make lots of fake attacks to confuse defenders: 1 fast infantry instead of wash attack, 1 fast cavalry instead of ambush attack, 1 troop to oases instead of plunder attack, 1 catapult instead of annihilation attack. Defenders always calculate the time of arrival to define the type of attack, they are decoyed with this categories and may choose wrong defense method. Remember that all one troop attacks will be killed. A very professional attack is when you send one catapult with one infantry; if the target village is evacuated (will be explained later), the infantry get killed, but the catapult will work! Same applies for one infantry and one ram(http://s6.travian.com/berichte.php?id=22340408)
2. Type of war defense
- Dodging
This type of defense is useful when you have a few troops, worthy ones, or can't get help in target village just in time. To do this, spend all of your resources or trade them or send them to a friend to keep it, send your troops away (reinforcing other villages of yours or others, send them to long term attacks and then cancel the attack before the half way, attack a third party with them with calculations of return time, or ambush attacks)... This is called evacuation. Even if you face catapults, you don't loose too much, just fall behind a little. Traps will be useful in the case of plunder attacks. If you are going to be online when the attack arrives, send away all
but 10 defenders to any destination right before the attack lands (less
than 90 seconds) and after the attack hits just click the cancel in
rally point to bring them right back. If you aren't going to be online when the attacks lands, send all but 10
defenders away on a journey long enough to avoid being hit. They should always keep 10 guys at home so fakes don't take down
buildings. They should never try defending against an overwhelming
attack. Let them come and swing at air.
- Scout and Decide
If some attacks come to your home in many hours later don't panic. You have time to scout the attackers, if they have some troops home or you see any other sign, you can choose how to respond the attack and the way of defense. If you have the history of his/her troops you can even estimate the size of attack.
- Call To Arm
In this case, you gather your forces in one place, ask leaders to coordinate reinforcement to your village including your current supply of crop and the size of granary. Build up your wall and palace/residence, do upgrades in armory upgrade apples only on troops that are built in that village), upgrade your granary, upgrade your stone mason(if it's capital), and build traps (if you're Gaul).
- Infantry Pump
If you have lots of resources but a few troops, you can pump cheap troops in your village. For this you must upgrade your barracks as far as possible and upgraded the armor of that kind of troop.
- Cranny Up
In the case that you have no troops and regularly being robbed, crannies seems effective. You can use them wisely in support villages such as 9 croppers or 15 croppers, or you can build them fast in the case you need to hold some resources to rebuild residence/palace after being catapulted.
Catapult Trap:
This
is a perfect example of expert play. Marbuul knew the clearing force
would overwhelm his defenses. So he dodged the clear wave and got his
defense back in time to catch every catapult and pulverized the attack
with a small force.
Clear wave: (dodged)
http://s6.travian.com/berichte.php?id=22504583
Cats waves, splat!

http://s6.travian.com/berichte.php?id=22504593
http://s6.travian.com/berichte.php?id=22504598
Notice, Marbuul times this to the exact second. He only had a 2 second
window to get his defense in front of those cats but behind the clear
wave. He did it and made the attacker pay dearly. I doubt this guy will
attack Marbuul ever again. Be smart, agile, and creative! (Originally by my friend Hepoberman.)

Academy:
The academy is one of most important buildings of Travian, here's it roles in village.
- All non-elementary troops must be researched at Academy.
- It's pre-requisite of both offensive and defensive buildings.
- It's pre-requisite of Town Hall, that works great while working with or facing senators.
- Culture Point: 5>6>7>8>10>12>14>17>21>25>30>36>43>51>62>74>89>106>128>153
Scouts:
The most needed thing in every
alliance is SPY. For more explanation you can read:
http://www.travian-tips.com/scouts.htm
Everyone is advised to train spies ( Scout, Pathfinder, Equites Legati
) , keep one in village all the time, and send others with massive
attacks... For short term purpose, you can send resources to those capable of
training these kind of troops and they reinforce you with one asap...

Profile Info:
- Profile Description: (Creation in Greek Mythology)
In the beginning there was only chaos. Then out of the void appeared
Erebus, the unknowable place where death dwells, and Night. All else
was empty, silent, endless, darkness. Then somehow Love was born
bringing a start of order. From Love came Light and Day. Once there was
Light and Day, Gaea, the earth appeared.
Then Erebus slept with Night, who gave birth to Ether, the heavenly
light, and to Day the earthly light. Then Night alone produced Doom,
Fate, Death, Sleep, Dreams, Nemesis, and others that come to man out of
darkness.
Meanwhile Gaea alone gave birth to Uranus, the heavens. Uranus became
Gaea's mate covering her on all sides. Together they produced the three
Cyclopes, the three Hecatoncheires, and twelve Titans.
However, Uranus was a bad father and husband. He hated the
Hecatoncheires. He imprisoned them by pushing them into the hidden
places of the earth, Gaea's womb. This angered Gaea and she plotted
against Uranus. She made a flint sickle and tried to get her children
to attack Uranus. All were too afraid except, the youngest Titan,
Cronus.
Gaea and Cronus set up an ambush of Uranus as he lay with Gaea at
night. Cronus grabbed his father and castrated him, with the stone
sickle, throwing the severed genitals into the ocean. The fate of
Uranus is not clear. He either died, withdrew from the earth, or exiled
himself to Italy. As he departed he promised that Cronus and the Titans
would be punished. From his spilt blood came the Giants, the Ash Tree
Nymphs, and the Erinnyes. From the sea foam where his genitals fell
came Aphrodite.
Cronus became the next ruler. He imprisoned the Cyclopes and the
Hecatoncheires in Tartarus. He married his sister Rhea, under his rule
the Titans had many offspring. He ruled for many ages. However, Gaea
and Uranus both had prophesied that he would be overthrown by a son. To
avoid this Cronus swallowed each of his children as they were born.
Rhea was angry at the treatment of the children and plotted against
Cronus. When it came time to give birth to her sixth child, Rhea hid
herself, then she left the child to be raised by nymphs. To conceal her
act she wrapped a stone in swaddling cloths and passed it off as the
baby to Cronus, who swallowed it.
This child was Zeus. He grew into a handsome youth on Crete. He
consulted Metis on how to defeat Cronus. She prepared a drink for
Cronus design to make him vomit up the other children. Rhea convinced
Cronus to accept his son and Zeus was allowed to return to Mount
Olympus as Cronus's cupbearer. This gave Zeus the opportunity to slip
Cronus the specially prepared drink. This worked as planned and the
other five children were vomited up. Being gods they were unharmed.
They were thankful to Zeus and made him their leader.
Cronus was yet to be defeated. He and the Titans, except Prometheus,
Epimetheus, and Oceanus, fought to retain their power. Atlas became
their leader in battle and it looked for some time as though they would
win and put the young gods down. However, Zeus was cunning. He went
down to Tartarus and freed the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires.
Prometheus joined Zeus as well. He returned to battle with his new
allies. The Cyclopes provided Zeus with lighting bolts for weapons. The
Hecatoncheires he set in ambush armed with boulders. With the time
right, Zeus retreated drawing the Titans into the Hecatoncheires's
ambush. The Hecatoncheires rained down hundreds of boulders with such a
fury the Titans thought the mountains were falling on them. They broke
and ran giving Zeus victory.
Zeus exiled the Titans who had fought against him into Tartarus. Except
for Atlas, who was singled out for the special punishment of holding
the world on his shoulders.
However, even after this victory Zeus was not safe. Gaea angry that her
children had been imprisoned gave birth to a last offspring, Typhoeus.
Typhoeus was so fearsome that most of the gods fled. However, Zeus
faced the monster and flinging his lighting bolts was able to kill it.
Typhoeus was buried under Mount Etna in Sicily.
Much later a final challenge to Zeus rule was made by the Giants. They
went so far as to attempt to invade Mount Olympus, piling mountain upon
mountain in an effort to reach the top. But, the gods had grown strong
and with the help of Heracles the Giants were subdued or killed.
- Play Style: (If you wish to know my play style, just follow the myths. If you solve the puzzles, you have the key to my realm. )
(Zeus is the supreme ruler of the gods. He is lord of the sky, the rain god. His weapon is a thunderbolt which he hurls at those who displease him. He is married to Hera but, is famous for his many affairs. He is also known to punish those that lie or break oaths.)
Aphrodite
(Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. In addition to her natural gifts she has a magical girdle that compels anyone she wishes to desire her.)
Poseidon
(Poseidon is the brother of Zeus. After the overthrow of their Father Cronus he drew lots with Zeus and Hades, another brother, for shares of the world. His prize was to become lord of the sea. His weapon is a trident, which can shake the earth, and shatter any object. He is second only to Zeus in power amongst the gods. He has a difficult quarrelsome personality. He was greedy. He had a series of disputes with other gods when he tried to take over their cities.)
Hades
(Hades is the brother of Zeus. After he drew lots with Zeus and Poseidon, He had the worst draw and was made lord of the underworld, ruling over the dead. He is a greedy god who is greatly concerned with increasing his subjects. Those whose calling increase the number of dead are seen favorably. The Erinnyes are welcomed guests. Hades is exceedingly disinclined to allow any of his subjects leave. He is also the god of wealth, due to the precious metals mined from the earth. He has a helmet that makes him invisible. He rarely leaves the underworld. He is unpitying and terrible, but not capricious. His wife is Persephone whom Hades abducted. He is the King of the dead but, death itself is another god, Thanatos. Also known as the Furies, Erinnyes punish crime. They pursue wrong doers relentlessly, until death, often driving them to suicide. They are particularly concerned with matricide. There are three Erinnyes, Tisiphone, Megaera, and Alecto. The Erinnyes came from the blood of Uranus when he was castrated.)
Hestia
(Hestia is Zeus sister. She is a virgin goddess. She does not have a distinct personality. She plays no part in myths. She is the Goddess of the Hearth, the symbol of the house around which a new born child is carried before it is received into the family. Each city had a public hearth sacred to Hestia, where the fire was never allowed to go out.)
Hera
Ares
(The aggressive and brutal god of War, son of Zeus and Hera. He was disliked by both parents. His mistress and/or wife was Aphrodite and his followers were Deimos, Phobos (fear) and Eris. He is famous for his oracle at Delphi.)
Hermes
(He is Zeus messenger. He is the fastest of the gods. He wears winged sandals, a winged hat, and carries a magic wand. He is the god of thieves and god of commerce. He is the guide for the dead to go to the underworld.)
Artemis
(Twin sister of Apollo, born by Leto. Her father was Zeus. Apart from being the goddess of hunting, she was also the protector of young women, childbirth, harvest, nature and the moon. She was a virgin goddess, and would bless women dying of childbirth by giving them a quick death. Artemis was one of the most popular goddesses of ancient Greece, and she was believed to wander around in the forests, surrounded by the nymphs. She was a goddess of dancing, and very much a goddess especially for women.)
