This is the very first rank. All members upon joining will gain this rank regardless of skill. Exceptions are highly unlikely to this rule. Initiates will attend the KoTp Academy; here they will learn, or practice if already learned, the basic skills of JK2. There will be different levels of KA (KoTp Academy) starting with Basic, then Intermediate, and finally Advanced. Here, group and individual training among Initiates and Senior Members (Jedi Masters on up) will take place. In the KA, members will train as mentioned together and alone, and members will duel each other in an organized manner which is authorized by the KA Instructor. Upon graduating from the KA, Initiates will be gathered, and Senior Members may choose an Initiate to take as their Padawan. Note: if there are no masters available, with the approval of the Council, an Initiate may move on to the rank of Padawan; a different means of training will provided.
This rank is gained as mentioned previously; by being chosen by a Senior Member or by the approval of the Council. Generally, Master-Padawan training can take a month to however long is necessary. It all depends on when the Master decides that his Padawan is ready for the trials. Trials include dueling, showing many of the skills that have been passed on to him from the Master. Above all, the Padawan's maturity and personality will be taken into consideration. Arrogance, pride, and defiance are not good traits for moving on. To receive the rank of Jedi, the Padawan must pass his trials and have the proper attitude. Details on trial information will be added later. Padawans may go on missions in constant supervision of the Master.
This is considered the rank of
independence; a Jedi has the ability to participate in clan match, and
complete more missions independently. When on missions, Jedi are more
free to make decisions but still will be accompanied. Jedi is not a
rank to be taken for granted; it is a very important rank and ones that
made it this far show that they have potential. Details of trial
requirements are to be posted soon. This rank is like a teenager in life, they both have there ups and downs but the Jedi are maturing into great people.
This rank represents a person's strong
capability, Jedi Knights of the clan are smart, mature, and can hold
their own in just about any situation. They have access to basic admin
powers on the server and can independently go on missions, help lead
missions, and offer advice. Details on JK trials will be added later.
Jedi Masters are talented,
intelligent, and have a deep knowledge of people of the clan and knowledge on diplomacy. They have a teaching ability and the required
patience to be known and looked up to as a Master in this game. Masters
have faced many trials to reach this position, to become a Senior
Council member a Master may be tried, but the trial will be based on
his wisdom and patience. Not many get past into the SC due to the sheer needs that it upholds in people.
The most patient and wise members form
the Senior Council, they are kind and have the best interests of the
clan in mind. They make wise decisions. They are not selfish, they
fight to maintain their title of Keepers Of The Peace. This rank does not come easy, you must have the best intentions for KoTp. The true love for the clan will get through any darkness and the SC prove that as they hold things together at the seams.
This position is the highest that is reachable in the clan KoTp, it is assumed by 2 individuals that are considered our leaders. These people are the law of the clan, and have over all power. Although they do take input from the other council members, Jedi Masters and Jedi Knights. These 2 people are the heart of the clan that give us our drive and power as a whole.
This position is held by only one person. The person that holds this position has ultimate power over every aspect of the clan and is the absolute highest authority. The Supreme Council has the ability to turn down any decision made by the High Council. This person is the very soul that binds us together as not just clan mates, but brothers for life as well.
The Recruiting Director (RD) is a side rank in -[KoTp]-. Their main responsibilities are to review the applications of kotp hopefuls for recruitment, observing the applicants, and recruiting applicants into the clan. They must judge the actions of all applicants according to the Clan Rules. Naturally if someone awaiting recruitment is breaking the rules and refuses to follow them, they will be denied entry. Where-as those who follow the rules and demonstrate understanding of the KoTp gaming environment will be accepted. Applicants who follow the rules and affect their gameing environment in a positive way will have a better chance of being accepted.
The clan ambassador is in charge of clan to clan relations. It is the ambassador's duty to establish good relations with other clans as well as keeping track of who our enemies are. The ambassador is also in charge of forming alliances with other clans. In order to form an alliance, the ambassador must observe the prospective clan to make sure they have the same basic rules that KoTp has. Then, once observation of the clan is complete, the ambassador will give a report to both the Head Council and Senior Council describing why they think the clan would make a good ally. The Council will then hold a meeting and make a final decision on whether to ask for an alliance or not.
This can be given to any one who is being under close watch by the higher ranks. This
can be in effect because of something done wrong to the clan or
something in your previous history that makes for suspicious activity. This rank consists of not being able to have rank power untill it is sorted out by the higher ranks. When a lower ranked member with no rank power is given this, it is mainly a very strong warning.
