The honored guest speakers for this conference impressively presented and addressed important issues pertaining to the Chamorro Language and Culture.
Due to limited air transportation, inclement weather, and economic downturn caused less expectation of participants. The 2nd Chamorro Conference united our neighboring island people of the Marianas to support and continued our quest aimed to promote, protect and perpetuate the everyday use of Chamorro Language and culture through education, family, community participation, cultural events, and documentation of traditional knowledge and practices. Strands of discussion tackled subjects on leadership, research and development, and new horizons of knowledge. Once again, " Dangkulo na si Yu’os Ma’ase’ "to all.
