Tea Light Test

I ordered several tealights to test for the big day. The reception is from 6-12 and we would like the tealights to last all night if possible. Started them all at 4:56pm. Did two each in case one was a dud or something.

Here are the results!

Cudge: went out at 9:33 and 10:11
These were normal what you would expect out of tealight candles. Metal rim, typical size.

Quick Candles: 10:20 and 11:02
These were a bit larger than I expected. Not sure if they would fit into the same size holders as normal tealights. Metal rim, and lasted longer than the smaller normal ones.

Yankee Candles: both went out at 10:38
Again, looked normal, but had a longer range than others.

Country Light
: 12:02 and (I went to bed)
These are soy candles. Package said average burning time of 7 hours, and it was true! These babies held on the longest! They have a clear plastic container though, so it seemed as if they let off less light due to the lack of reflection. Not sure if it makes a huge difference though.

Just candles
: 8:50 and 9:23
Normal tealights!

Conclusion:
We're going with the soy. They are pretty much guaranteed to last the length of the reception, and they are better for the environment!
