Children’s Knitting Class
This class is geared towards children ages eight through twelve. Each participant will learn how to make a garter-stitched
hat.
Instructors: Katie Brousseau and Doris Prokop

Beginning Rug Hooking Class
This is a basic class that will include the hook
and the wool strips and the canvas. You
will need to bring an embroidery hoop that is at least 6 inch. There will also be examples of Kool aide
dying wool shown at class with instructions handed out at the class. The
finished project can be used as a candle mat, display or maybe even a Mug Rug
for your favorite beverage you enjoy while crafting.

Holiday Mixed Media Collage
New Series!
This month: Autumn/Halloween
This series will feature Mixed Media Collage canvases with new
classes focusing on a different holiday.
Each kit will contain: canvas, modpodge, theme appropriate papers and
tissues, and a brush. There will be a
selection of embellishments, rub-ons and textural elements that are theme
specific as well. Please bring some paper cutting scissors. YEP! there WILL be
dies that are specific to Halloween and Autumn. SQUEAL!!! It is going to so much
fun! We will decide on a Finishing class during the class for those who want to
further embellish.

Beginning Knitting Class
This class is for those wishing to learn how to knit! In this class we will cover casting on, the
knit stitch, binding off, as well as other useful knitting information. Each
participant will be able to set up a one-on-one follow-up session with the instructor
to answer any further questions.

Beginning Mixed Media Collage
This a series to introduce you to the wonderful world of color and
artistic fun called Mixed Media collage.
You will need to bring a good pair of scissors to cut paper and wear
messy clothes. Your KIT will include:
canvas, mod podge, brush, a variety of paper and tissues, patterns. You will also have paint, rub-ons, ink, clear
stamps, embossing powders, etc. to further embellish your art. We will decide
on a Finishing class during the class for those who want to further embellish.

Make Your Own Stamps!
In this class you will learn to make your own
personally designed stamps. The biggie project will be featuring the a kit that
has everything you need to cut your own stamp. There will be other methods that
will knock your socks off with FUN!!! Kit includes EVERYTHING you will need to
put "your own stamp" on things from now on!*this class involves sharp
tools and is not recommended for young children.

Elva Knit A Long

Eva Ruffle Sweater
During this three-week class, Doris will provide the instructions
necessary to create a beautiful ruffled sweater. The Eva sweater may be worked using either
sock or lace-weight yarn, may be short or long-sleeved, and also includes the
option of beaded embellishment.

Intermediate Crochet: Reading Charts
This class is perfect for those who already know a
couple crochet stitches and are ready to learn several more. Participants will be instructed on chart
reading, a skill that is especially useful when reading patterns written in
foreign languages!

Primitive Rug Hooking "something a little whirly"
Lets do a little something whirly and free form with our mini rugs. This free form class will allow you some
creative freedom and really let you get the "hook" of things. YOU will have a hand in the designing,
drawing out and producing your own piece of art AND heritage! Though not well
known this is an addicting needleart that you will be hooked on.. :) Come give it a try! Yu will just need an
embroidery hoop at least 6 inches in diameter,
though oval hoops will work well too!
This is just to hold your piece taunt while you work. KIT INCLUDES: WOOL
STRIPS, LINEN BURLAP AND PATTERN PAPER.
If you need a Primitive Wool Hook they will be available
for purchase in the CheerUps! Folkart Booth.
