What is Paleo?

The Paleo diet is a nutritional plan based on the presumed diet of our ancestors from the Paleolithic era.  The "contemporary" Paleolithic diet consists mainly of meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, seeds, and nuts, and excludes grains, starches (beans, potatoes), soy, dairy products, refined sugar, and alcohol.
