InformationHeldon, officially the High City-State of of Heldon, is a country in western reaches of the Meridian Sea. Its is bordered to the northwest by the Shieldwall Mountains; to the north by Sherran and to the east by Koddardos. Heldon straddles a strategic land bridge that it exploits to its fullest. GeographyThe territory of Heldon cover 100,00 sq miles of land and water. It is the 2nd largest nation within the Five Kingdoms. Elevation ranges from the mountains of the Shieldwall to the swamps of the eastern border area. Forested uplands of central Heldon cover large sections of the interior.Area Map Heldon is currently a military dictatorship, a government headed by military chiefs. All government institutions below continue to be run by civilians with oversight by the military . The Supreme Council, headed by Supreme Commander Feric Jagger, ultimately decides all government policies. Heldon's soil is rich and dark. While the nation cannot compete with Sherran, the great economic powerhouse to the east, it provides sufficient yields to feed its people well, with enough surpluses to export. Mines are numerous in the Shieldwall Mountains, especially Zhud ones. The works produce iron in great quantity and small amounts of precious metals as well.
