The Great Escape is an annual camping event for Scouts and Venturers from across Southern Alberta. The Whitehorn Scout Group in general and the Knights of Artemis Rover Crew in particular provide the financial, logistical and technical support for this camp. Over 500 youth and adult participants, assisted by upwards of forty volunteers recruited by the event team enjoy a Saturday packed p\full of activities followed by the "Great Escape" game Saturday night. From around 8 p.m. until 4:00 am Sunday Scouts attempt to reach designated checkpoints without being caught by the pursuing Venturers.
