| | The Knights of Artemis Rover Crew is part of the 175 Whitehorn Scout Group in Calgary, Alberta. The Crew is a group of young men and women aged 18 to 26 years who are dedicated to the Rover motto of Service. The Crew meets at 7 pm on the fourth Thursday of each month from September to June.
The Crew provides the primary support for the Chinook Council Great Escape event each Fall for Scouts and Venturers, hosts the early Spring Camp California camp for Venturers and Rovers and is active in many other service projects. As examples, several crew members serve as leaders in younger sections of the Whitehorn group, they train and cook at the annual Lions District 37 O Youth Introductory Leadership Training Course and they help serve the volunteer dinners at the Fanning and George Boyack extended care facilities. Crew members are active in many other camps as well. |
