Command & Data Handling
2005-2006

Knightsat is The University of Central Florida's entry into the Nanosat 4 student satellite design competition. The Nanosat 4 competition is sponsored by the Air Force Research Lab. Knightsat is broken down into six sub-systems including Altitude Determination and Control (ADCS), Power, Propulsion, Structure and Thermo, Science, and Command & Data Handling. The Command& Data Handling (C&DH) sub-system is charged with: providing processing power for sub-system processes to run, providing adequate error-corrective storage, and defining standards and protocols to be used on the satellite. In short, the C&DH team is in charge of the computation infrastructure of the satellite. | Knightsat C&DH Resouces:File Archive -All the files produced for EGN 4412 & 4413.
