KNIGHT BULLMASTIFFS

 RESCUE DOGS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

A POEM TO MY

FOSTER DOG

by Diane Morgan

 I am the bridge
Between what was and what can be.
I am the pathway to a new life.

My heart melted when I saw you,
 Matted and sore, limping, depressed,
 Lonely, unwanted, afraid to love.

For one little time you are mine.
I will feed you with my own hand
I will love you with my whole heart
 I will make you whole.

 I am made of steel.

 Because when the time comes,
When you are well, and sleek,
 When your eyes shine,
And your tail wags with joy
 Then comes the hard part....

~ I will let you go~

not without a tear,
 But without a regret.
 For you are safe forever--
A new dog needs me now.

Unfortunately, their is a need for a rescue page on my site.  I wish there wasn't, but this is the reality in our throw away society.

All the dogs listed on this site are available for adoption with the American Bullmastiff Assoc. Rescue.  If you are interested in adopting a Bullmastiff, please fill out the adoption application

The ABA is in need of volunteers, particularly those who can foster a dog in need!  If you are interested in helping in any capacity including fostering, transporting, IDing, or doing home visits, please complete and send in the Volunteer Application:  You can contact Virginia Rowland at BLACKSLATE@aol.com, with any questions.   We hope you will consider volunteering!

PLEASE USE YOUR BROWSER'S BACK BUTTON TO RETURN TO MY PAGE ONCE YOU HAVE LEFT THIS SITE.

To see a couple of the dogs that I have rescued, please visit their blogs by clicking on their names to open the link.  One of my special girls was Sara.  She was beautiful inside and out.  Then there was Indy, who could always bring a smile to my face. Indy was a happy, fun loving puppy.  I am happy they have found their forever homes.

While Sara and Indy have been lucky, and found new homes, we still have numerous dogs available for rescue.

I have a new dog, Tank, who is looking for his forever home now.  When Tank has been assessed and has had time to heal from his neutering, he will start obedience and socialization classes and will be available for adoption.  I will start a blog on him and will keep you up to date on his progression as it happens.  In the mean time, here is a photo of Tank.
