This fall I will be a senior at Northwestern University in Evanston (Chicago), IL.  I came to get two degrees - one from the School of Music and one from the College of Arts and Sciences - but I dropped the music major in the late fall of my sophomore year.  I now just have one major (psychology) and I'm looking to go to nursing school after I graduate.  

On campus, I am the Music Director for Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity for women at NU.  For my Work Study job, I'm a House Manager at Pick Staiger Concert Hall.

I was born and raised in Washington state - not Seattle - and was very actively involved in the music community there.  By the end of my senior year of high school, I had an amazing group of friends that I didn't want to leave.  I've stayed close with some of them, but there are definitely times when I regret having to leave them.  There is one person from home that I have actually managed to get closer to, however, and that is my boyfriend Sean.  We have known each other for years, but we started dating once we had both moved away to college.
