I signed up to go to Lecce, Italy for July and August of 2007 in order to complete my second year of language, as required by Northwestern.  I created this blog so that my friends and family at home could keep track of my adventures while I was abroad.  Unfortunately, there were many problems with this plan: the first is that there was virtually no internet access in Lecce; the second is that I absolutely hated every second I was there.  I decided to come home after less than a week, although it took me 5 days to be successful in that endeavor.
