The November 14, 2011 meeting of the KMS FFA Chapter was called to order at 7:25 p.m. by President Jared Krieger.  The meeting was held in the auditorium at the KMS High School.

Opening Ceremonies was performed by the officers.

The Secretary’s report was approved as read.

Halle Walsh talked about attending the U of M Fall Invite. Kristen and Courtney both talked about the Forestry competition.  Sam talked about soils, and Tyler discussed fish and wildlife.

Also, Mitch Swanson talked about our November service project:  Trick or Treat for Hunger.

A motion was made by Ali Krieger to have Santa Letters from KMS.  Mitch Swanson seconded the motion.  The motion was passed.

We were informed that the Crop Show would be taking place on November 22^nd starting at 7:00. Those competing were to have their crops to the school by 3:30 p.m.

It was also discussed that we would be selling fruit from November 14^th to the 28^th.  Those who wanted to sell over Thanksgiving needed to talk to Mrs. Williamson.  We received our fruit sale folders that night.

We were told that the U of M Winter Invite would be taking place on December 15^th.  The cost is $5 and each team needs at least two practices.

Hanne Tebben’s name was drawn as our fall CDE practice winner.  She won a blue FFA shirt.

Derek moved to approve the bills until the next mtg. Hunter seconded the motion and it passed.

Taylor Feldman moved to adjorn the meeting and Zach seconded.

Following the meeting fruit sales folders were handed out.
