A Little About Me
I was born in San Angelo, TX and spent the majority of my school years in Bronte, Texas. I graduated from Bronte High School in 2002 and went on to Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. While in college I married my high school sweetheart named Kevin. We have three adorable dogs named Tootsie, Reese, and Gracie. I graduated from ASU in December of 2005 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. I hold Texas teaching certificates in Business Education grades 6-12, Technology grade EC-12, Journalism grades 8-12, and ECH-4 Generalist. I am currently teaching BCIS 1 (Business Computer Information Systems) and Credit Recovery at Lake View High School.
Curriculum
Grades 9-12 also utilize curriculum developed for Business Computer Information Systems (BCIS) courses. This course gives students a working knowledge of computers and prepares them to be proficient in business applications using the Microsoft Office Suite. BCIS is designed to assist students in keyboarding and 10-key skills that will help improve productivity. Typing tests are given periodically through each quarter and used to track students progress.
