Japanese Anime Community

Are you guys still working on Japanese Anime stuff?

Yes, our Japanese/Anime community is still active.

First in list is Matej Kovacic, he is currently the key editor of Anime/Japanese cinema projections program in MAMA (Multimedia institute).
The activities were not only projections, there were video editing workshops, fanart exhibitions and we participated in few urban culture projects.
This project is now more then seven years running (possibly even eight, we sort of lost count:).

Secondly there is anime/japan fanzine "Yoshi" that we are particularly proud of.
The people behind this fanzine are doing really impressive work.
They cover wide range of topics from japanese history and culture to manga, anime and japanese film industry, and they print local fanart.
So far they have printed 21 issues and all are available as a pdf download on this address
http://yoshi.iugrina.com/

As the time progressed this fanzine grew in volume and graphics quality.
They try and succeed to publish on regular basis (around every two months) and today Yoshi looks more like magazine then ever.
Editor of Yoshi is Darko, popular "Seph".

And thirdly there is Tamara, she is the founder and the administrator of one of the most active and certainly oldest anime forums in Croatia
http://manga.net-junkie.org/forum/

This forum provided a new and more easily accessed platform for exchange of information and discussion as it inherited now almost legendary newsgroup hr.rec.film.anime.

...Thank you so much, James. If this page has some problems contact me.
