| (1) hi, Joi invited me to take a look at the class -- it's great stuff, I hope you're enjoying it. I've a comment, possible additional question about the Magnum In Motion interview. Magnum was created by some of the world's greatest photojournalists, a cooperative where they retained their own copyright. With the Internet's facility to copy and share, new copyleft and other rights models, how does the copyright model work today in the business of photojournalism? Might be interesting to hear the interviewee's opinion. And I'm very interested by your question about sensationalism: What do we mean by sensationalism, particularly when thinking about photojournalism, and particularly the genre in which the founders of Magnum excelled, war. Capa's photograph from the Spanish civil war, Loyalist Militiaman at the Moment of Death, what can be more sensational in all the possible meanings of that word? No question, just a thought! Thank you for the advice.
I included the rights model question in the interview.
