Write Bangla in LaTeX! : Tutorial

Now it is possible to write unicode texts in LaTeX. Just have a look at the LaTeX editor section for more info and the tutorial. This will show you how to configure and use LaTeX in a windows machine.

Training for New Session Started

New training session has started. This session will contain Geometry, Algebra, Number theory (Combinatorics for the seniors). The classes are Taken by Tarik Adnan Moon.

Mock Test 02: Problem Sets are now Available!!

Today the students of KMC has taken their mock test 02. As far as I know, they have done fairly well, and solved number of problems. So, The problem set of Mock Test 02 is now available for everyone. I'll add the answer sheet as early as possible. So...happy problem solving.

The problem sets are now available in the document section (find among the first 5 unsorted documents).

Mock Test 02

We are going to arrange our second mock test. I have already prepared the problem set. Many of those problems are completely new. So, don't forget to check this website regularly for those problem sets. Oh...I forgot to say we shall arrange mock test 02 at 1st of January. And I shall publish the problem set just after the tests are over.

we have got 50 students enrolled in two groups and we have closed the enrolment. We are happy to get these young genius people. They are doing really well. I hope that they will do very well in BdMO. Wish some luck for them.

Mock Test-01 Completed

We have successfully arranged a mock test in KMC. About 40 students have taken this test. We are surprised with the response of the students. Only in group A, about 30 students have taken this test. As far as we check they have done fairly well. The problems were selected from the hard problems of BdMO divisional 2008.

We have successfully passed our first week

Here, I am pleased to announce that Kushtia Math Circle has successfully passed its very first week. We have taken 8 classes (4 in each group). They students have learned basic Combinatorics, Number Theory and sequence. The students will take a mock BdMO test on 21st December. We shall check and judge their improvement by this test and before the course is over we shall take another mock test.

In the upcoming weeks we shall start solving problems and teaching some more advanced things. We shall also upload the problem sets and more books shortly. Till then, stay with us. "Stay Tuned" ;)

Classes and overall plan

As a part of intensive training for BdMO divisional we shall take 10 classes and 2 mock tests. This will increase the problem solving ability of the students. The training will cover all the topics that are necessary for math olympiad. We shall also discuss the solution of the past BdMO problems.

Kushtia Math Circle(KMC) has started its journey

Today, we have started our special training for upcoming Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad (BdMO). We arranged two classes. One for Primary and Junior (Group A) and another for Secondary and Higher Secondary (Group B). The class of group A was from 9:15 am to 10:45 pm and the class of group B was from 10:50 am to 1:00 pm. About 50 students Joined these two classes.

Nourin Hasan Chamak a student of BUET took class on Puzzles and problem solving (group A) and Number theory, divisibility and congruence (group B)
