Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build simple, decent, affordable housing for people in our community who are economically challenged.  Funding for the Habitat ministry comes primarily from local individuals, churches, and business contributions.

We have broken ground and are moving forward with our mission of building a new home along with our partner family.  As we build, we will need volunteers to help with the work, and we'll need donations for the building materials.  On completion, the family will be asked to take out a mortgage to pay back Habitat for the house over 25 years at no interest (Biblical financing), which in turn will help other hard working local families obtain the dream of home ownership!  K-M churches are working together with our community to make this dream a reality.
