This past weekend the KMBA 12U Traveling Team played the first baseball games representing KMBA. With only 4 practices, the team went to Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota and played in the IGH Classic. The boys represented Kasson and Mantorville very well, with excellent baseball and sportsmanship.

The team finished the tournament 3-2, taking third place, just missing a berth in the Minnesota Sate Baseball Tournament. The team had victories over Farmington, and Inver Grove Heights on Saturday, and lost to the eventual tournament champions from River Falls, WI. On Sunday, in the championship bracket, the team lost an 8 inning game to South St. Paul then beat Lake Elmo, MN in the third place game.
