Science Fair
The science fair is an exciting time to investigate an interest of yours within the science field. Your project will be designed on what you are studying this year in science (6th – Earth Science). When deciding on your project to be creative, original, and pick a topic that interests you. You must meet all the required deadlines; this is for your benefit. Don’t forget to have fun!
The tentative timeline follows:
Project Proposal – February 26th
Begin Research – as soon as project is approved
Research Time (in school) – March 3rd – March 7th
Experiment Design and Rough Draft of Research paper – March 17th
Gather materials and begin experiment – as soon as approved
Final Research Paper – March 28th
All experiments complete – April 3rd
Log Books Submitted – April 4th
Draft Report (drawing of display board included) – April 11th
Final Reports – April 25th
Display Board (in school) – May 5th – 9th
Individual Presentations – May 14th – 16th
School Science Fair – May 19th – 20th
