Science Fair

The science fair is an exciting time to investigate an interest of yours within the science field.  Your project will be designed on what you are studying this year in science (6^th – Earth Science).  When deciding on your project to be creative, original, and pick a topic that interests you.  You must meet all the required deadlines; this is for your benefit.  Don’t forget to have fun! 

The tentative timeline follows:

          Project Proposal – February 26^th

          Begin Research – as soon as project is approved

          Research Time (in school) – March 3rd – March 7^th

          Experiment Design and Rough Draft of Research paper – March 17^th

          Gather materials and begin experiment – as soon as approved

          Final Research Paper – March 28^th  

          All experiments complete – April 3^rd  

          Log Books Submitted – April 4^th

          Draft Report (drawing of display board included) – April 11^th

          Final Reports – April 25^th

          Display Board (in school) – May 5^th – 9^th

          Individual Presentations – May 14^th – 16^th
