Violence and the Genocide

Two tribes: Tutsi and Hutu
The Hutu are 85% of the population.
The Tutsi are 15% of the population.
Tutsi can become Hutu if they lose their wealth, and vice versa.
One of the causes of the genocide was the fact that the Hutu were peasants, and Tutsis had at least ten cattle.
Hutu could become Tutsi if they gained ten cattle.
Tutsis were favored by Europeans for racial reasons.
Tusti are taller, lighter and have aquiline noses.
Hutus are short, dark, and have broad noses.
