About About Us

The About Us section is basically a history of KLSAT and what has happened to it over time. It will be updated as things happen, but the final section will always be KLSAT Today. The contents of that section may change because it is only a summary of the status of KLSAT now.

The History

After taking the OLSAT (Otis-Lennon School Ability Test), our founders, Ben L. and Greg K. came up with the idea for KLSAT. Here is a short history on KLSAT.

From Humble Beginnings

After the teacher collected Ben and Greg's tests, they began to make fun of the test's questions. These included stupid analogies such as purple is to brown as yellow is to cucumber. This led into an idea for a test created by them to test one's sanity level. Later that day, Greg called Ben on the phone to propose a name. It was accepted and KLSAT was born.

The Creation of KLSAT

A few days later, Gabriel got involved and submitted several questions which made him KLSAT's consultant. At Greg's house, later in the day, Ben and he typed up a rough draft of KLSAT. They revised it, added a title page, and created the instructions.

The Test is Tested

After the KLSAT was completed, the staff realized it needed a tester. It had to be one that would give an average result. Thus, they turned to Sue. She took the test, got an average score, and proved that the test was good. Still, it was only one test. KLSAT needed more.

Taking it on a Larger Scale

To test it more, KLSAT Inc. brought it to the ultimate testing grounds, school. They gave it to their teachers, Ben S., and Matt A. The day after, Ben and Matt turned it in and proved, once and for all, that it was a worthy insanity test. Now, it was ready.

Brought to the Public

The day KLSAT received the test results, they received more orders for tests. This was KLSAT's main goal. Yet, it was happening too slowly. Suddenly, out of the blue, Gabriel had an idea. He wanted to create a flyer for KLSAT. The rest of the staff agreed, Gabriel was made publicist, and KLSAT Inc. was ready for the flood of orders.

The World Wide Web

After this, on the same day, the KLSAT staff decided to have a website for further publicity. Greg searched and located Googlepages. He created the site and added features that were useful to KLSAT.

Publicity Blasts Off

The next day, Gabriel brought in the flyers and posted them in the Literature room. During the course of the day, the staff got three orders. Two were for Michael G. and Andrew F. They both saw the flyer and it interested them. Our third order was proof that Matt was a greater asset than KLSAT could have predicted. He told Jake R., and he asked for a copy. Therefore, Matt was made a publicist and Gabriel was promoted to chief publicist.

Spreading Like Wildfire

A week later, orders came in in floods. Ever since the flyers were posted in the Literature room, people had checked them periodically. Suddenly, springing up as quick as a flame, people began to place orders. None of the staff knows why this outbreak occurred. The most likely explanation is that people overheard orders in class and wanted one for themselves.

KLSAT's Apparent Death

Later, people began to lose interest in KLSAT. The staff attempted to keep it alive, but the only way the staff could was to go online and support the online form.

The New Approach to KLSAT

Finally, after a long time of waiting, KLSAT's staff has begun work on KLSAT Form B. However, they have learned from their mistakes. They will only give the test to the most staunch supporters at school. The majority of KLSAT's activities will exist online.

KLSAT Today

Now, KLSAT runs on an online basis. KLSAT's staff advertises it around the internet and it is gaining popularity very slowly.  We've received dozens of tests and counting, and with the change to online business, we save trees and time, so that we can get your test to you sooner.

The Future of KLSAT

The staff at KLSAT edu is currently working on a KLSAT Form B.  The expected release date for this test is November 1st, so get ready!  Our innovative team has also created a portable KLSAT study guide for the
TI-84 Plus calculator, so you can have insanity on the go!

Despite all this, however good it may become and however much the staff changes it, the purpose will be the same. The purpose is to follow this saying:

No insane child left behind.

As long as KLSAT does this, it will remain pure. The staff will always work their hardest to spread KLSAT and retain the purpose.
