What if I test my children and they do not do well?

One of the concerns parents have about testing is the fear that their child will not perform well on the test. If this is your concern, I have great news for you.

I have tested many home schooled children whose parents have had this same concern and their children have tested at and above grade level in most or all areas. These parent educators are so relieved and happy they had their children tested, not for their child's sake, but for their sake.

Home educators who have their children tested can put their concerns and fears behind them and move forward in confidence. They know how well their children are doing under their educational direction and they have their child's standardized test profile as an objective written document.

If your child should test weak in an area, you will know exactly what area his or her weakness is in. This knowledge will take the guess work out of your instruction time; you will know exactly where to direct your energies and how to best help your child be successful in all areas of academic achievement.

The benefit of using Home School Testing Plus is that we believe in home education and we will protect your privacy.  As an independent educational consultant I work primarily for parent educators.

No one will see your information unless you share it with them.

I am also available for educational counseling, test consultation, program development and high school transcripts.  I will be happy to help you with any questions or concerns.

Home educated children on average score in the 80th percentile on Standardized tests, their counterparts in the system score in the 50th percentile.

On a personal note our two daughters scored in the 50th and 60th percentile during our home education days.  That did not stop them from going to college and graduating with high GPA's.  Both graduated from Grand Valley State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Bio Medical Science.  One is currently attending the University of Detroit Dental School and the other is working full time as she considers graduate school.
