- Friday, June 8, 7:30pm, the Red Hot Chachkas and Kabbalah (hot klez-rock band from Marseille, France) at Ashkenaz, Berkeley. 7:30pm Yiddish dance lesson with Bruce Bierman and David Rosenfeld. Show at 8:30pm. $12 adv/student, $15 door.
- Saturday, June 9, 3:00pm, the Red Hot Chachkas outdoor House Concert at Wisteria Ways, Oakland. $15-$20 (sliding scale) door.
- Sunday, June 17, 3:30pm, 86th Annual Jewish Folk Chorus Concert of songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, Ladino and Russian. At Jewish Community High School of the Bay, San Francisco. Suggested donation: $12 general admission, $6 seniors (65+), students, and persons with disabilities.
- June 23, 5:00-7:00pm, The Klezmakers perform at Vasona Vibrations 10th Annual Free Summer Concert Series. At Vasona Lake County Park, Los Gatos.

- Sunday, June 30, 1:00-2:30pm, Klezmer Class with Jeanette Lewicki. At a private home in Oakland. Participants will learn by ear, by heart, by voice, by foot (dancing the zhok, bulgar, khosidl & more). Classes, with snacks, will be held the last Sunday of each month. Cost: $5/class. 60th anniversary of the “night of the murdered poets” It will include a
sing-along by Jill Tallmer of Yiddish songs from Russia, and Yael Chaver
giving a talk about Yiddish Russian poetry and literature. At the BJE Jewish Community Library, San Francisco.
