These people have given a significant amount of time to help me get RICE Racing off the ground. Whenever possible please repay them for their contribution by supporting them in their endeavors and businesses.

Nick Flyger

Nick is originally from NZ where he used to race and help out in the club scene around Dunedin.

Coming from a Adventure Racing and MTB background I also organized off-road duathlons in the Dunedin area. While in Dunedin I coached several of New Zealands top MTB cyclists, a member of the NZ U23 road development team and the third place getter at the World Deaf Champs. After I completed my Masters in Biomechanics I moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2006 where I am working at the Malaysian National Sports Institute.

After a few years here I really miss regular racing for the weekend warriors. With that in mind I decided to start some informal racing. My only goal is to build cycling in Kuala Lumpur, cater for non-elite, novice and social cyclists who want to go fast. I hope to keep racing free or at a very minimal charge per race or season.

Muhamad Razli Ibrahim

Artist, graphic designer and Creative Director for RICE Racing. Razli created our logo and the concept of RICE, in his words RICE is an amalgamation of we RIDE together, we RACE together and of course RICE is our fuel so that we can "Get Cooked On A Bike".

He is also a very talented artist and I hope you can visit his website to see some of his work or think of him the next time you you need some graphic designs.

Tuan Senang Besar (TSB)

Tuan Senang Besar aka TSB aka Kharis aka Big Easy (phew cops would have a hard time tracking his many aliases!) has years for event managment and race organistation experience. From 1999 to 2005 he served on the Tour de Langkawi organisation team and later organised the GP RaceSpeda series. Currently he is a part of the inaugral XTERRA Malaysia coordination team. TSB is the chief partner in crime to Nick.

Any triathlon nuts who want to go off road should check out the XTERRA website... http://www.xterramalaysia.com
