| Books, Magazines, Videos, and Media: Book Purchase #2
- If GSB could fund 100$ for one year, KLC will fund same amount $100
from KLC budget to fund and purchase $200 much books from Korea. Most
of the books are purchased through aladdinus.com
ISU Library purchases book related with Korea. However, most of media
and books are related with Korean Americans, Immigrants, and politics
after the war. KLC has found only 3 story book with actual Korean
Language in the library last year.
KLC would like to increase volume of Korean book in Korean Language,
which are suitable for Language Learners. KLC already has bought
several books for Korean Language instruction. Book Purchase #1 was
made in fiscal year of 2009-2010.

| Capital Expenses: KLC Banners
- KLC finds need of Symbol in figure as Banner in case of Events.
<>KLC plans to make 5 banners. 1 Big Banner11"x17" and 4 Small
Banners 8.5"x11' will be color-printed through ISU Print and Laminated
so they will last at least three years. And if necessary, KLC will
re-laminate with repair cost in yearly base.
<>There are three cases Banners can be used. <A> KLC
organize an event. KLC Banner could be used to direct and indicate
location along with an arrow. <B>. Make a presentation board for
Club Festival.
<C> Indicate Location for each class room. (One for each level of

| International or Ethnic Food Event: Event 1. Fall semester party
- KLC has 100 registered members. 20 of them have been actively
teaching, and not required to pay dues. 30 of them are active learning
members who pays 10$ per semester. From previous experience, KLC
expects at most 50 members to participate KLC's Ethnic Food event. On
average, members might bring up to one additional attendee. Not many
brought two person. Thus, expected attendance is 100. KLC request GSB
for Up to 500$ for Food Cost.
KLC does not pursue any profit from this event. If any money is unused,
KLC will hold small size Ethnic Food events, or prepare and share with
other learning members.
This ethnic Food event will also encourage members to play modern
korean party games, or hold small contests that show off knowledge of
Korean Language or Culture. Location will be one of the Churches near
Lincoln way for public use. In case reservation is not made, it will be
held in KLC member's place or Lounge of Apartment.
KLC Expect this event to happen last week of October or Either first
two weeks of November.
KLC does not charge admission cost for active members. However, if KLC
rent a location from a church, KLC will have a donation box for
generosity of the church. | |
