This site was created by me, Samuli Kaislaniemi, for the purpose of listing my academic credentials, namely my publications and presentations. This site contains abstracts and, when possible, drafts, pre-prints and presentation slides. I am also using this site to publish transcriptions of archival documents. In the process of doing research, I have transcribed and will transcribe various unedited documents found in archives, not all of which I want to or feel the need to publish properly. However, as many of them may be useful for others, I am publishing them online here. These are primarily records from the British State Papers at the UK National Archives in London. In time, I may also add further things, particularly resources relating to the East India Company which I am in the process of compiling when I can steal a moment or two. For the moment, these include the (now redundant) British Library microfilm reel finder for Hatfield House Cecil Papers, and a normalised, searchable and sortable table of contents to 'Winwood's Memorials' (1727 edition).
