About

Martin C. Harvey is a part-time Research Associate with the Open University's Biodiversity Observatory project. Alongside that he teaches adult education workshops (subjects including IT for biological recorders; wildlife identification and recording), provides biodiversity data management services, and carries out invertebrate survey and monitoring.

An example of one of my invertebrate survey reports can be seen on the Brook Meadow Conservation Group website:
Brook Meadow, Hampshire, 2004 (pdf, 1MB)

Previous work has included running Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Environmental Records Centre (2005-2008) and Biodiversity Data Manager for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (1999-2005) - and in a former life he spent 10 years as a professional musician.

Outside work Martin spends time being a father, enjoying entomology, and playing the trombone.
