Great news to share! We are SO excited & proud to announce that we have been selected (again!) as a finalist in the NC Dept. of Agriculture’s Best Dish NC restaurant competition for 2011! Rainbow Tomato Granita with Polenta Cracker

       A chilly, refreshing layered rainbow of summer garden tomato granita accompanied with polenta cracker and garnished with fresh backdoor garden herbs        

    Sunday Afternoon Pork Sliders with Spaghetti Frittata

Italian-herbed, braised Foot Hills pork sliders served on Laura’s focaccia topped with My Granny’s rustic slaw and served with slice of farm to table spaghetti frittata

Drunken Pan di Spagna with North Carolina Peaches

Classic Italian sponge cake lightly soaked with Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine sweet syrup    filled with pastry cream and served with macerated market peaches

Some history...  We are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our building was built in 1913 and operated not only as a general store but one of  North Carolina’s first women dentists, Dr. Rosebud Morse Garriott, had her practice on the second floor from 1916 until 1982.

Kitchen Roselli is the creation & dream of David, Laura and their two sons Carlo & Lorenzo.

David & Laura, both Italian, make the entire menu from recipes they have created together and those passed along from their wonderful families - the Ciafardini's & Roselli's! 

David's grandparents, John & Daisy "
Granny" Roselli, Opened Sunny Italy Italian Restaurant in North Wilkesboro in 1967 - 2009.  We thank everyone for their well wishes and the most wonderful memories!
