For this tutorial you will need:
A Tube of your choice I am using the awesome artwork of Zindy S.D. Nielsen which you must have a license to use you can get one at
ZINDY ZONE
Paper and Elements are from a scrap kit called Fallen Angels by Addictive Pleasures, which you can purchase
HERE
Mask is by Gabee and shared with permission, please visit her fotki for more awesome masks
HERE
You can get the mask
HERE
Open up the mask and a paper of your choice
Duplicate the paper and resize it to 550 x 550
Masks / New / From Image and select the mask from the dropdown menu
Masks / Invert
Masks / Delete and click yes to the little popup window
Now you can close the original paper and mask
Image / Canvas Size / 620 x 620
Now give your new mask image a dropshadow
Open up your tube and clock
Copy and paste the clock as a new layer and give this a dropshadow, no need to resize this
Now copy and paste your tube as a new layer, again no need to resize just give it a dropshadow
Now in your layer pallet highlight your mask layer
Selections / Select All
Using your selections tool click anywhere on your canvas this will make your image float without the dropshadow getting any darker
Selections / Invert
Now while your ants are marching highlight your clock layer and hit the delete key, then highlight your tube layer and again hit your delete key
Selections / Select None
Now in your layer pallet change the opacity of the clock layer to overlay
Again in your layer pallet change the opacity of your tube layer to screen
Duplicate your tube layer and change the opacity of your duplicated tube layer to Saturation
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible
Now open up the moon, copy and paste it as a new layer and resize until your happy then drag this underneath your merged layer and place it at the top right hand corner
Open up the leaves, copy and paste these as a new layer and resize them by 70% then place these along the right hand side of the mask image and give them a dropshadow
Add a new raster layer and add some large text, I did 'The Fallen' give this a dropshadow and then drag this to the bottom in your layer pallet and place this at the bottom of your image
Open up the jewels and resize these by 60%, copy and paste this as a new layer and give it a healthy dropshadow, then flip and mirror it and place this over the top left hand corner of your mask
Then Duplicate this jewel layer, again flip and mirror and place this over the bottom right hand corner
Using your lasso tool just cut away the end of the duplicated jewels that slightly overlap in the middle of your image
Now open up the candles, copy and paste this as a new layer and resize by 50%, then place this over the left hand side jewels and once your happy give this a healthy dropshadow
Duplicate this layer and mirror, this might need moving slightly so that its over the right hand side jewels
Open up the cala lilly, copy and paste this as a new layer and resize this by 60%, then give this the same healthy dropshadow and place this in the middle to the right
Now open up a ribbon of your choice, I used ribbon3
Copy and paste this as a new layer and resize by 60% and give this the same healthy dropshadow as before
Rotate this 90 degrees to the left and then mirror it, then place this at the bottom left hand corner
Add a new raster layer and add your name and copyright
Crop your image
Save as either a transparent Png or a Jpeg and your done
