This tutorial was written by and copyrighted to Kirsty on 4th March 2011
 
This is my own creation and any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.

For this tutorial you will need:
A Tube of your choice I am using the awesome artwork of Misticheskaya which you must have a license to use you can get one at PFD
Paper and Elements are from a freebie scrap kit called Chess Queen by Me, which you can downloadHERE
Template is also by me, which you can download HERE
 
 
Open up the template, duplicate it and close the original
Delete the top copyright layer

Close out all the layers except for 2 and 3
Give layer 3 a dropshadow of your liking
Highlight layer 2
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float
Selections / DeFloat
Open up a paper of your liking, I used Paper1
Copy and paste this as a new layer and resize if needed
Selections / Invert then hit your delete key
Selections / Select None then give this a dropshadow
Delete the original shape layer 2

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Now open up one of the glitter sheets from the kit, I used the turquoise one, it matches the chess piece tube

On your template highlight layer 8
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float
Selections / DeFloat
Copy and paste the glitter sheet as a new layer and resize by 80%
Selections / Invert then hit your delete key
Selections / Select None then give this a dropshadow
Delete the original shape layer 8

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Highlight layer 5 and give this a dropshadow

Open up a different paper, I used Paper5
On your template image highlight layer 4
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float
Selections / DeFloat
Copy and paste the paper as a new layer and resize if needed
Selections / Invert then hit your delete key
Selections / Select None
Delete the original shape layer 4

Now highlight layer 9 and change the opacity of this to multiply

Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Now cross out your merged layer and uncross layers 7 and 6
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Open up another paper of your choice, I used Paper1 again
On your text layer you have just merged
Selections / Select All
Selections / Float
Selections / DeFloat
Copy and paste the paper as a new layer and resize if needed
Selections / Invert then hit your delete key
Selections / Invert again
Selections / Modify / Expand by 2
Add a new raster layer and flood fill this white
Selections / Select None and now give this a dropshadow

Drag the white layer underneath your paper text layer and also delete the original text layer
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Uncross your other merged layer

Open up ribbon2 and resize it by 70%
Copy and paste this as a new layer then mirror it and give it a nice healthy dropshadow
Drag this underneath your text layer and line up the edge of the ribbon with the middle edge of rectangle

Now open up the chess path, copy and paste this as a new layer, resize it by 80% and place this going along the bottom of the rectangle
Once your happy give this a dropshadow of your liking

Now open up a flower and ribbon of your choice, I used flower1 and ribbon1
Copy and paste the flower and ribbon as a new layers, resize the flower until your happy then rotate it 90 degrees to the right and then flip it
Place this on top of the chess path and give it a dropshadow
Resize the ribbon until your happy then place it so that the knot is at the top of the stem of the flower, then once your happy give it a healthy dropshadow

Open up your tube and resize before copying and pasting with all layers ticked, I resized mine by 40%
Then copy and paste just the girl as a new layer onto your image and place in the middle

Add a new raster layer and add your name and copyright
Layers / Merge / Merge Visible

Crop your image

Now copy the chess piece and paste it directly into AS as a new animation
Effects / Insert Image Effect and change the dropdown to Underwater
Heres a couple of screen shots of the settings that I used

Then click ok

Now click on the first frame of the chess piece animation
Edit / Cut

Back in Psp on your main image
Edit / Copy Merged and over in AS paste as a new animation
Duplicate your main image so that it has 20 layers, the same as the chess piece

Edit / Propagate Paste

Now click on the first frame of the chess piece
Edit / Select All

Click on the first frame of your main image
Edit / Select All

Now grab the first frame of the chess piece and drag it over to the first frame of your main image and try to line it up as best as you can, I used the hand to line mine up
Dont let go of the mouse until you are happy
*Remember the undo tool is your best friend! lol*

Once your happy play your animation, save as a Gif and your done!
