The Bookshop with a Difference - a Fantastic Warmth and Ambience.

We are moving towards a business model that supports individuals embracing social wellbeing and we welcome the opportunity to work with other businesses cooperatively.  Our ethic says that we can't continue to consume without a conscience and we are now choosing stock which is is ecologically sustainable.

We aim to support the local community by providing a low impact environment that nurtures and supports a broad cross section of people and products.

An example of our commitment to social sustainability is the support of the Barbara May Foundation. This Australian charity is empowering people in developing countries to make childbirth safe.

One of the new things we are selling is the venue itself. Most people who come here compliment the "feeling" the shop has. It is difficult to accurately describe the feeling but one thing is clear the comment is constant. Our valuable customers appreciate the mood for hours on end while they relax and appreciate our bright and colourful shop. We want to continue to offer this valuable service. Get out of the city work silo that stifles and limits and come to a creative place that encourages problem solving and lateral thinking. We can now invite you to our adaptable venue for meetings and workshops with free WiFi.  It is amazing how quickly our floor space can transform to adapt to your needs.

There are two entrances - through the gate in Bligh Street or up the stairs from the arcade at 3a-9b Broughton Street. Our shop is above the Kirribilli Deli. As you enter the arcade look up!
We are easy to access via train from Milsons Point station.
