More About SPACS

SPACS, or Special Purpose Acquisition Corporations, such as the
Sightline Acquisition Corporation, managed by Kirk Sanford, are also known as Blank Check Companies.
These companies are specially formed so that capital can be raised via an Initial Public Offering,
while the investors are waiting for the opportunity to make a business deal with the funds raised by the IPO.

Investors who form this corporation are highly respected and thoroughly qualified, usually with years of business
experience and acumen.  SPACS are considered limited in risk since the awaited business transaction usually needs to take place within 2-3 years of the formation of the SPAC. If the deal is not made within that time the investors will receive all of their money back, with only minimum amounts deducted for administrative fees incurred by the management team of the SPAC.
