MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL SEPTEMBER 3 At middle school chapel Wednesday we had some special guests. We had special air force color guards come and show us how to fold the flag and what each fold means. It was really cool and we all learned a lot. They allowed for us to ask many questions and we all took the ant vantage. I personally am glad that Mr. Soul had them come in for our chapel.
First Day of 8th Grade Every first day of school brings ups and downs. Every first day brings new friends, new clothes, new challenges, a new homeroom teacher, and more, harder homework. On the first day of school you get dressed up, carry all your supplies in and put them away, and endure the picture with the teacher your mom insists you have. But the 8th grade year is different. It’s the day every kid has dreamed about since kindergarten. This is the year you are the “Big Dog”, the top of the school, the role models that everyone else looks up to. 8th grade also comes with bad things, too. More responsibilities, higher expectations, and…..ALGEBRA! But, at some point during the day you realize that it’s the first day of your last year before high school.
Student life/8th grade
the kids in the 8th grade are at the top of the school. That’s what most of the kids were looking forward to: being at the top of the classes. But some of the kids are looking forward to other things, Such as Alec Edmisten,. he is looking forward to the 8th grade trip at the end of the year. Personally, I am looking forward to paintballing, and getting shot with paintballs. So those are just a few of the 8th graders that gave their opinion among other activities.
