For reasons that have been explained elsewhere difficulties arose that made it necessary to transfer this material to another home. This new home is GOOGLE SITES.

All illustrations in GKH diaries have now been included.
AUGUST 1st
PAGES 6920 to 6925 have been added. These pages cover the Siblings of George King-Hall and the families connection with P G Wodehouse and Brigadier George Grogan V. C.
AUGUST 18th
PAGES 6940 to 6946 have been added. These pages include the description of the expedition that Andrew Chirnside and Russell King-Hall made to Central Africa in 1879. Their adventures are recorded in The Land of Sorrows. A Map will be added.
2010
FEBRUARY 18th
Recent research has provided evidence that Mary Anne did accompany James to Bermuda in the summer of 1825 and that James returned to England between June 1827 and march 1828.
However no evidence has yet been found to show when she died or whether she died in England or Bermuda. All we do know is that James married her niece in Bermuda in March 1828 very soon after his return from England. A short section has been added covering the wife and daughters of Gerorge King Hall.This section includes a brief description his wife's family the Kers.
