Links

Not much to say about links.
If you don't know what they are then how did you get here?

Official Links
The places to go for everything Aces & Eights related.

Kenzer & Company Official Site - Exactly what it says. The place where the magic happens.

Aces & Eights: Shattered Frontier Official Website - A wealth of information and downloads available for free.

Kenzer Online Aces & Eight's Online Store - If you can't find Aces & Eights at you local FLGS you can purchase directly from Kenzerco.

Official Kenzerco Aces & Eights Online Forums - The place to go to discuss Kenzer products. If you have a question about any aspect of their fine games this is the place to get them answered.  The players and staff are friendly and always ready to help.

CafePress Kenzerco Store
- Here you find Aces & Eights poster maps and many other awesome items supporting all of Kenzerco's products.

Other Aces & Eights Links
Fansites, Unofficial products and the like.

Terminal Studios - The studio that released the excellent (and free) unofficial zombie supplement/adventure The Running Death. It can be downloaded directly from them as well as the Kenzer site.

Online Price Calculator - This really neat tool applies all the modifiers made to the price of goods based on distance from section 5.5 of the core book. Just plug in the base price and it auto calculates the inflation.

Miniatures Links
Miniatures are not required for Aces & Eights but they can be useful.

Whitewash City
- Printable PDF paper/cardstock 3D miniatures of buildings and terrain. For about $90 you can get every piece Mr. Hotz makes (a lot!)  and can make an infinite number of buildings. There are some free samples you can try to see their exceptional quality.

Knuckleduster Miniatures - They provide a variety of excellent (and unusual)  western miniatures but their greatest asset to the Wild West gamer has to be their Knuckleduster Cowtown Creator book. I have heard a great many reviews of this book and not a single one has been bad. They also have authentic western music Cd's, reproduction playing cards and reference books. If you shop anywhere for support material for your Aces & Eights game it should be at Knuckleduster.

Other Western Gaming links
There are a few other Old West RPG's out there. Some have some useful information.

Das Spiel Unker - This company manufactures ammo counters. So what you say? Well these counters are made from wood and hold real brass shell casings. He has a ton of different types for different uses, most are perfect for Aces & Eights. Did I mention that they are very reasonably priced as well? Pretty dang good deal all around.

Wild West RPG - One of the oldest Western RPG's; originally published by Fantasy Games Unlimited. This site reproduces the long OOP game (with permission) in its entirety. There are also some other useful Western downloads on the page as well. Its interesting to see how far things have come in our wonderful hobby.

Useful General Western/Historical Links
The places where I find the answers, now only if i knew the questions.

The Household Cyclopedia
- Basically an almanac detailing the common knowledge needed during the frontier years. Dated 1881 but fits just about anywhere in a Western timeline.  Available as a web, PDF or text document.

True West Magazine - A deservedly famous print magazine, True West has quite a few articles available for perusal on their website.

Old West Slang, Lingo, & Phrases - A really comprehensive A-Z dictionary about the colorful phraseology used in the Wild West.
It does contain some cuss words.

Inspirational Media Links
Movies, games and other fun stuff that I (and others) have found.

Classic Cinema Online - A boatload of classic Western movies all watchable for free.

Retrovision Internet TV - More free Western movies.

Wichita Faro - An online, free Faro
(as seen in Tombstone) flash game. Easy to play but hard to master. Give it a whirl pilgrim.

Aces & Eights: Shattered Frontier, Hackmaster and related indicia are copyright by Kenzer & Company.
