Kilcock Musical & Dramatic Society are delighted to announce their Pantomime for 2010...

LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Registration for Chorus

Sunday 13th September from 2.30pm

St. Josephs Hall, Kilcock

Note: lower age limit of 12 years on or before 1st January

Registration fee of €5.00 payable on the day, taken off cost of membership

Auditions for Chorus

Sunday 13th September - 3pm

St. Josephs Hall, Kilcock

Audition will be in a group format and include dance and music (song: You Can't Stop The Beat).

Note: please wear suitable footwear/clothing on this day.

Principal Character Auditions

Sunday 20th September - 3pm

St. Josephs Hall, Kilcock

Billy (Lola's handyman)

Red (Lola's grand daughter)

Lola (Dame)

Professor Nasty

Audition will include dialog and music. Script/music pieces will also be available for collection on Sunday 13th Sept.

First Rehearsal for Chorus will take place on Thursday 17th September at 7.30pm in Scoil Dara, Kilcock.

Our production team of Director Yvonne Ramsey, Musical Director Peter Manning and Choreographer Leah Kinnane look forward to seeing you all at Auditions on Sunday 13th for chorus and Sunday 20th for principal characters.

The Annual General Meeting of KMDS took place last night (2nd July) and, after a vote of confidence in the current committee, the following have accepted positions:

Chairperson: Marie Murphy

Treasurer: Mick Amoruso

Secretary: Sharon Murphy

PRO: Andrew Docherty

Members: Elaine Deehan, Orla Kelly, Leah Kinnane, Mary Mallon, Lorraine Murphy and Laura Darragh.

Our sincere thanks is extended to Suzanne Byrne, Anne Keogh and Melissa Mallon who have chosen to step down.

Sharon named Runner-up

Hi all,

Well we've returned from Killarney after a great weekend, Sharon was named as runner -up in the Best Actress category on Saturday night, a huge achievement for her, but she's actually the Best Actress in Leinster amazing! Well done to her, we are so proud of her and long may her success continue.

Following on from the announcement of the AIMS Nominations on Sunday 24th May in New Ross we are delighted to announce that our very own "Charity Hope Valentine" aka Sharon Murphy has been nominated in "The Best Actress" Category.

Results will be announced on Saturday 13th June at the AIMS Awards ceremony in The Gleneagle Hotel Killarney and we wish her every success.

We would also like to extend congratulations to our neighbouring societies Clane, Newbridge and Trim on their respective nominations.

Again huge congratulations to Sharon and we'll have everything crossed for you for the 13th!
