About Kids' Klub
 
Kids' Klub is the Sunday morning children's ministry program for all children in grades 1 through 5 at the First Baptist Church of Alameda.  It is a Sunday School like no other!  
 
The purpose of Kids' Klub is to introduce Jesus Christ to each child and for them to have the opportunity to accept Him into their lives as their Lord and Savior. 
 
Our goals are to:
  • Make each Sunday a fun and safe day
  • Teach the children about Jesus through fun activities
  • Show each child that God loves them 
We believe in active learning and use the Faithweaver Friends curriculum produced by Group Publishing. 
 
 
 
Here is a typical Sunday morning: schedule:
  • 10:45 am to 11:00 am  Activity Center - kids play games or just hang out
  • 11:00 am to 11:15 am  Music time - kids sing a variety of songs
  • 11:15 am to 11:40 am  Bible story - kids are involved and actively participate in the learning point
  • 11:40 am to 12:00 pm  Activity #1 - Either Snack-it-Cafe, Games, Projects with a Purpose or Surprise Station
  • 12:00 pm to 12:20 pm  Activity #2 - Either Snack-it-Cafe, Games, Projects with a Purpose or Surprise Station
  • 12:20 pm to 12:30 pm Prayer and closing
In Snack-it-Cafe, kids get to make a snack that connects to the Bible point of the day
In Projects with a Purpose, kids get to make a craft that connects to the Bible point of the day
In Games, kids get to play a game that connect to the Bible point of the day
In Surprise Station, you never know what's going to happen but it will connect to the Bible point of the day
