This page is my attempt at organizing and keeping some of my more common tutorials for KHS Staff. This page was created at Google Sites. This is one of the many places you can use to create an information portal for parents and students. Other examples might include:

UPDATE: The Wake County Public School System now offers teachers a FREE blog or wiki for student and/or classroom use. However, you MUST complete the CyberSense course at http://blackboard.wcpss.net. Simply log in to Blackboard and search for CyberSense.

The CyberSense course will allow you to:

1. Identify the federal laws governing acceptable student use of online resources.
   
2. Understand which WCPSS Board Policies govern student and faculty/staff use of online resources.
   
3. Understand how to use the WCPSS Privacy Matrix to help you decide what content can and cannot be posted online.
   
4. Provide examples of what can happen when inappropriate use of the online resources happens.
   
5. Identify and address CyberBullying.
   
6. Understand the risks and statistics of online child predators
