Man falls off cliff & lives

September 27 Kevin Covert (promoter of the Bluegrass Adventure and Roots Festival in Algoma) fell about 60 feet off of a cliff at Ledge County park while camping. He broke his neck, crushed his back, broke all of his ribs and punctured both lungs. After spending 2 1/2 months in the hospital and thanks to a great group of nurses and therapists he was able to leave the hospital. Prognosis is better than his family and all his doctors could have imagined. He is paralyzed from the waist down. Kevin was laid off at the time and had very little medical insurance. His wife, being self employed as a horticulturist, was not working all winter. They are in great need of our help!
