Costs & Scholarships
Question: How much does LTS cost? What does the registration fee cover? Where do I send my registration to?
Registration closes March 12, BUT we will remain open until space is closed! The Registration fee is $55 before February 4th an $65 after February 4th. This will cover meals from Friday night dinner through Sunday breakfast, workshop/discussion and seminar materials, and a few other surprises. Housing will be arranged through home-hospitality in student dorms/apartments (when registering, you will be asked to indicate if you need a place to stay).
Question: How should I pay for the Leadership Training Seminar if I am seeking scholarship assistance from my congregation and/or my Hillel?
When you register online, it will ask you to enter the amount you are expecting to receive from outside sources. Please send a check for the difference to us as soon as you are able and by the deadlines outlined on the registration site.
Question: Are there scholarships available from KESHER or KESHER at McGill University?
Unfortunately, not at this time.
We encourage you to ask for financial assistance from your hometown congregation, campus Hillel, congregations local to your campus, regional Hillel or URJ Regional Office to help subsidize your travel and registration costs. You may also want to speak to the Brotherhood or Sisterhood representatives at your home congregation, as they may know of additional funding available to you. Unfortunately, neither KESHER nor KESHER at McGill University will offer scholarships for the event.
* We understand that many participants will be receiving scholarships from various sources. For this reason, partial payments (by Check ONLY) will be accepted. However, participants will not be fully registered until complete payment is received in our office. Only indicate scholarship funds if they are being sent directly to LTS (not if you are being personally reimbursed).
